Apple Sausage Stuffing

Apple-Sausage Stuffing

2 loaves of french bread
16 oz. breakfast sausage( i usually use Tennessee Pride)
1 honey crisp apple
1 small sweet onion
2 stalks of celery sliced thin
2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs beaten
1 TBSP butter
 1/2 TBSP garlic powder
1/2 TBSP onion powder
1/2 TBSP Sage

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Two days before preparing the stuffing cut bread in cubes and let dry out.

Cook Sausage in pan then pour over bread crumbs.
Dice and peel apples add to bread crumb mixture with spices,
In the same pan you cooked the sausage in add butter celery and diced onion.
Saute until see through and then add to mixture.
Finally add together chicken broth and  milk with the eggs
 bake at 425 for 40 minutes or until done.
