Drowning

Floating in a sea of darkness
Sinking below
Gradually sinking into the darkness within
Suddenly it has surrounded her
Swirling around her like an endless ocean of despair
Sinking lower and lower
Swirling faster and faster
Will there be an end
Will she rise again
Reaching and grabbing for something to hold
Searching and searching
Seeking and thinking
Will they see
Will they hear
Here it comes swirling again
Pulling her down to the depths within
Surrounded by others but always alone

Apple Sausage Stuffing

Apple-Sausage Stuffing 2 loaves of french bread 16 oz. breakfast sausage( i usually use Tennessee Pride) 1 honey crisp apple 1 small sweet onion 2 stalks of celery sliced thin 2 cups chicken broth 1 1/2 cups milk 2 eggs beaten 1 TBSP butter  1/2 TBSP garlic powder 1/2 TBSP onion powder 1/2 TBSP Sage Preheat oven to 425 degrees Two days before preparing the stuffing cut bread in cubes and let dry out. Cook Sausage in pan then pour over bread crumbs. Dice and peel apples add to bread crumb mixture with spices, In the same pan you cooked the sausage in add butter celery and diced onion. Saute until see through and then add to mixture. Finally add together chicken broth and  milk with the eggs  bake at 425 for 40 minutes or until done.

Time to blow off the Dust.

I have many talents.... I may not use them all, like ever. But I feel like I am at a point in my life where I need to accomplish something, or at least feel that way. So I created a little blog, actually I looked and I have a few LOL. But this blog is going to be all about me being more creative and using some of the talents that I have let get dusty. I am going to be cooking, writing, crocheting and I may even sneak some feelings into it all. SSOOO let's begin this journey together. See you all soon!!
